Quick outfit shot taken around the carpark area of Shangri-La Hotel where I went for an early birthday brunch at The Rose Veranda with a few friends last weekend. Looking forward to another bday meal this weekend! And it's my birthday today! Woohoo!=)

101010
Hello everyone! How was your weekend? So I was bridesmaid for my lovely friend Mimi's wedding two weekends ago which also happen to be the day where alot of other couples got married. Yup, it was 101010. Such an auspicious date don't you think? Not to mention it's so easy to remember that they'll not have any excuse to forget their anniversary every year. Haha. Anyway, the day started really early and lasted until late at night. Slightly exhausting but we had so much fun 'torturing' the groom's brothers and camwhoring all throughout the day. Here's what I wore for the dinner at night.
Forever21 Dress, Charles & Keith Shoes, Heart Leggings from Taiwan, m)phosis chain necklace, F21 Accessories
The dress was a lucky last minute find which I bought 2 days before the wedding. I knew I wanted to wear black but the only option I had before that was a maxi dress. Preferring to go short, I made a quick trip to town and found it literally by chance on the corner rack at F21. Black, short, chiffon roses and I'm sold. Also bought the sparkly hairband to go along with the dress. I need some bling! DIY-ed my hair doing multiple braids with the intention of some loose waves but decided it looked better in the messy braids so left it as it is. I liked it pretty much=)
Full shot of outfit here with my friends who were also bridesmaids (excuse the messy floor!). Pure coincidence that we were all in black. We had a mixture of blacks and florals among the bridesmaids that day.
Totally random shot but I was kinda amazed at how I couldn't figure out what colour the nailpolish is exactly. Quick story. I had a bottle of a pastel green/blue (I think) colour which turned out to be really thin/diluted (cheap nailpolish) so I ended up mixing it with black to see what it would become. This was what I got. It looked grey upon immediate application, then alittle later, grey-green and the next day I thought it looked blue-grey. Confusing but I like it.
Have a wonderful week ahead guys!=)

Hello Blog!
OMG! Has it been two weeks? How have you been? I've missed you much!
Yup, it's been quite awhile since the last post I know. To put it simply, I've been faced with too many 'make it work!' moments lately which left me with precious little time where I chose sleep over blogging. The Spring 2011 fashion week has already kickstarted in New York and I have yet to view any collections completely on style.com. Loads of catching up to do, plus a massive list of unread posts on bloglovin', which I finally finished going through yesterday.
Amazingly, with all the madness, somehow I managed to squeeze time out or more like I had to have a time-out to attend my friend's Mimi hen parties (2 parties on different days).
Top from Isetan, F21 Jeans, Shoes (my fav!) from CP, m)phosis Fringed Clutch, Accessories & Specs from F21 & Far East.
This was my outfit for the first party which had a retro theme. Ok I know it's not exactly that retro, but I literally had to throw an outfit together like a few hours before the party so I had to work with whatever I could find. Ended up wearing as many bright colours as possible and I also brought my nerdy specs along and some hair accessory to retro-fy the look whenever needed.
I also realised the colours of my accessories somehow matched the colours of the top. Then again, the top has like basically all the colours possible. Haha.
So anyway, we went to Helipad (my first time there) which I actually think is quite a boring club. I much prefer the chill out place on the rooftop above. The night was filled with lots of camwhoring and lol tasks the brides-to-be had to complete which was pretty fun to watch. Our second party the following weekend was just the bride and a small group of close friends. That ended up being a marathon ktv session (6+hrs!) instead of the pre-planned hen party. Lady Gaga, BEP, Wonder Girls, Super Junior, A*Mei, you name it, we sang it. It was mad fun.
We also had a mini early birthday celebration for Mimi with this burger cake which is one of the funniest birthday cake I've seen. Love it! I've already requested for a Chanel bag cake for my birthday next year! Haha.
Now that I'm done with the short update, it's time to get back to the madness and also catch up with the new Spring collections. Hopefully it won't be a long absense again. Once again, thanks for visiting the blog and I'll be back in a few! Happy mid-week everyone!=)

My Birthday!
Lacee Swan Ranya Tee, Cotton On Shorts, Code Red Belted Sandals, Nerdy Specs from Far East, Rings from everywhere, DIY Studded Cuff
It's my birthday today! Had an early mini celebration with friends over the weekend. Ate alot and finally had the chance to check out KSuites. I thought the place was kinda pricey (we were made to order overpriced drinks) but it's definitely more posh than the normal KBox branches. At least we had fun with some pretty cool recording function in the room and ended up hearing ourselves getting all natural high and singing really loudly. Haha.
MeL made me chocolate cupcakes (my 'birthday cake') I requested for. Very yummy! Thanks MeL!=)
Forgot to do an outfit shot that day so the first pic is actually from I think a couple weeks back (Thanks Ad!). Not exactly taken in the best lighting and I know it's a chessy pose but since it's my birthday, I can pose any way I want. Haha. I'm wearing the Ranya Tee which I was lucky enough to win from a giveaway by Lacee Swan, a talented artist who does beautiful illustrations. She sells the model series tees (currently there are 6 designs) on her site as well, so check them out if you would like a piece of your own. Will definitely take a better photo of the tee another time since this was an impromptu shot taken after a whole day of walking around.
So, there have been a few happenings going on recently. A friend of mine got me involved in a new and potentially exciting project if things go smoothly, so basically I've been very occupied rushing samples to meet the deadline which explains the lack of posts last week. Secondly, the BFF just got engaged last week! Congrats girl! I'm looking forward to producing the 'rainbow connection collection' (you know what I mean. Hahaha..). Lastly, my friend Nel just relocated to HK for work. Nel, if you're reading this, what happened to meeting up before you left? But anyway, hope everything's going well in HK yeah. I'll go look for you if I head there!=)
Have a great week ahead guys!=)
p/s: To all my friends who dropped me sweet birthday wishes and msgs, thanks guys!=)

I'm Just Gonna Go With 'What I Wore'
Shop Stylista Lace Jacket, TF Tank Top, F21 Jeans, New Look Boots, Bag from City Plaza, Rings (all F21 except gold ring)
Wore this to the Dsquared² opening show last week. Nothing really fancy considering I was among plenty of expensive stuff floating around. Saw a lady wearing this (love!) and was probably unaware that I was staring at it so much til she started shuffling her feet around. Oops. Haha. Also, I've updated the store. If you like the lace jacket I'm wearing, you can buy it here. Thanks again to M&M for helping me out with the shoot. Love you guys!
Special shout out or more like hello to the little one (Hello J!) who decided to pop out almost a month early! Congrats B! TTYS!

I Wore A Mask
Ok, so I'm extremely behind in fashion week updates. Paris & Milan produced some really fabulous shows (Viktor & Rolf! Gareth Pugh! Balmain! Chanel! And did you even see those INSANE shoes at McQueen?!?). Will get down to that soon I promise.
Just a little something else, my friend invited me to some Hoyu hair show at Zirca on Wednesday. It started so late, we got too bored waiting and started cam-whoring. The masks was from the goodie bag they were giving out.
Ok, that's all for now, off to eat xiao long bao! Haha.

Black Versatility
I totally love my versatile M)phosis top which I discovered can also be worn as a dress, and it can be transformed into a low neckline top/dress by simply adjusting the zipper in the front. Easy to wear, easy to match, will definately wear it for awhile. Met some friends yesterday and ate at Astons (my current favourite restaurant) & went to Butter after. Saw a really cool beatbox performance, and realised I don't really get rapping at all. Especially continuous rapping.
