Hi, I'm Back And I'm Going To Fashion Week! + FRTS + Blogshop Updates

Hello, I'm back again! Hope you missed me. Haha. I guess I didn't have much inspiration or more like I was just lazy to blog for the past couple of weeks.

Anyway, fashion week is here!!! The Audi Fashion Festival & Blueprint event is starting from today (well, techinically yesterday since its already the 28th) up till the end of the week. It's gonna be a whole week of fashion glitz & glamour! Got tickets for the opening show of AFF by Dsquared² which takes place today, am really looking forward to watching it! I read that Carmen Kass will be opening the Dsquared² show, plus the designers Dean & Dan Caten are coming. Unlike fashion week in Paris, Milan, London & New York where designers of the label usually appear at the end of each show, here in Singapore, we only get to see a selceted few designers who are able to make the appearance (as in international names). Which makes the show more exciting than usual. I read that Henry Holland is also coming. And maybe Mr. Cavalli? Tickets to alot of shows are already sold out (when I last checked), but if you'll like to experience the thrill of watching a real fashion show (you won't regret it, trust me), hurry up and purchase tickets to shows that still have available seats! 

So, did you guys watched the Star Awards* on Sunday? I missed the red carpet segment so didn't really get to see who wore what. I did see some pictures from the event and saw S/S2010 looks from Miu Miu, Burberry & Gucci.

The Miu Miu Spring 2010 collection is one of the most coveted & discussed collection among fashion bloggers this season. Yvonne Lim wears a cat print sequinned top from the collection.

Random fan-girl moment: Godfrey Gao came! And so did Mark Chao. Mel is a new fan of GG! Hilarious. But he is tall, handsome AND hot.

Wow, just realised this post is such a random mix of things. Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to get some pics from fashion week to share on the blog. In the meantime, have a Happy Wednesday!=)

After The Flea

Ok I'll admit, I haven't exactly been consistent with updates of events. So, this was from the flea market I did with bff like er, almost a month back? Yup I know, like how fast am I right? Haha. Anyway, it turned out pretty good, over the two days we were there, we sold off quite some stuff & had quite alot of fun. Definitely one of the better flea markets I did, I was happy about that and it was bff's first flea so she was happy too.

This was our table display on the first day. We only had one table so we basically displayed as much accessories, shoes & bags on the table as we could. We also had a clothing rack which I bought like literally 2 hours before the event. Mad rush.

This was our space on the second day. It turned out to be way bigger than the first day coz we were given two tables instead of one, which also turned out to be a good thing coz bff's friend came to join us to sell some of her own stuff and we ended up having a whole range of merchandise to sell. Our location was fab as well, located just at the main entrance where the traffic was pretty good.

And that's us at the closing end of the day! I know it looks like we still have alot of things left, but that's coz we kept replacing empty spaces with new stuff once something was sold off (we did have ALOT of things).

So guess what? I might be doing the flea again this weekend. Will update in following posts if I get a space. In the meantime, I've updated the shop (I know, like FINALLY). There's more clothes (new & pre-loved) and also a range of unisex leather belts. Do check it out! Click here to shop!

Shop Stylista Sneak Peek

This is WAY overdued but better late than never right?=D If you have been following F.A.T, my previous blogshop which I co-owned with a friend of mine, I would like to kindly inform you that the blogshop has now ceased operation. I now have my own little online store where I will be selling brand new & preloved items. Here's a sneak pic(peek) of the first collection which will consists of mainly dresses of all sorts. A huge shout out and thanks to my lovely friends Mimi, Shan & Andrea for helping me out with the shooting of the clothes. The collection will be launched sometime this week so do check back for updates!*
