None The Wiser

It's always exciting to come across new labels and discover the story and inspiration behind the brand. Remember when PAEZ shoes first hit our sunny shores last year? This time round, the same folks who brought us PAEZ is introducing None The Wiser (love the name!), an up-and-coming Australian eyewear range which was launched just early this year but has already gained a strong following for its unique bamboo frames. NTW eyewear are made from eco friendly bamboo (100% sustainable bamboo) and also offers the highest Category 3 UV Protection, which means while being an environmental friendly fashionista,  you also ensure your eyes are well protected!

Major lust over the Mary Katrantzou for Topshop collection. Her prints are always too beautiful to resist. I hope I'll get to see the actual pieces when they arrive in Singapore next month, well, if they don't already disappear by then.

PAEZ 2011/2012 Collection

Following their well received debut collection, young&restless is back with their Spring/Summer 2011 collection featuring beautifully draped pieces (I like!) formed out of basic shapes like squares, circles and triangles. Love the refreshing choice of colour palette including aquamarine, turquoise and teal green as well.

young&restless will be available at Hide & Seek, M Culture (@The Heeren), Blackmarket No.2 (@Orchard Central) & Egg3 (@The Cathay) from mid-February onwards.

After several highly successful collaborations between up-and-coming local designer Max Tan and Ashburn Eng, who is also the founder and creative director of Test Shoot Gallery, they have come together once again to collaborate on a new line for the max.tan label. Named young&restless, the line designed mainly by Ashburn is 'made for the free-spirited, confident and unpretentious woman, who is sophisticated yet, bold enough to daydream. She is forever young and down-right restless.'

My favourite pieces in this collection would have to be the draped robe/long cardi (2nd pic), the pants-skirt combo piece (reminds me alittle of Gareth Pugh's S/S2010 pants with back chiffon skirt combo piece) and the star motif dress (last pic).

Aje. Autumn/Winter 2010 Lookbook

Came across these images from Aje. Autumn/Winter 2010 lookbook awhile back. These are some of my favourite looks/pieces from the collection. Loving the sequin dresses, tops, pants, cutout skirts, well, basically all the sequinned pieces. Have been having some sort of unexplainable obsession with sequins lately which is weird coz I was never that into them before. Also, the maxi/asymmetrical dresses are something I can't seem to stop looking at as well.

Bambi...

is her name.

I only came across this model a few months back when her pictures started making its rounds on fashion blogs. Bambi Northwood-Blyth is an up & coming Australian model who I think is absolutely adorable. That and the fact that she has a rather unique/memorable look, a plus in modelling. So Cute!!! Although I prefer she do without the nose ring. Love the ring (can't really make out what it is though)!
