I Really Like This Outfit

The weather has been really fickle lately. It's either really hot or it rains like crazy. Nothing to do with the outfit posted here btw, just being random. I love everything about her whole outfit. The slouchy knit cardi (LOVE!*) + the basic tee + the long skirt (which I somehow find myself going back to being obsess with lately) + the oversized round shades + the red lipstick. *I guess it's a good thing we don't have the winter season here or else I can so totally imagine buying all the fabulous coats, capes and winter jackets I keep seeing in stores the past few weeks. I DID however, end up purchasing a cape (just one) awhile back coz it was on sale and I justified the purchase by telling myself I'll have something to wear when I go to cold countries OR I can simply wear it here when it's cold OR just wear it nonetheless. Haha.

So anyway, I know I disappeared for awhile again. Sorry about that if you do read the blog regulary. Thanks for sticking around. I really appreciate my readers and comments so keep em coming! Was somehow occupied with things to do/complete. I must stop making empty promises to update regularly. Maybe I'll try doing scheduled posts so at least there will be some posts at least every week? Ok, no promises. I'll try=)

After The Flea

Ok I'll admit, I haven't exactly been consistent with updates of events. So, this was from the flea market I did with bff like er, almost a month back? Yup I know, like how fast am I right? Haha. Anyway, it turned out pretty good, over the two days we were there, we sold off quite some stuff & had quite alot of fun. Definitely one of the better flea markets I did, I was happy about that and it was bff's first flea so she was happy too.

This was our table display on the first day. We only had one table so we basically displayed as much accessories, shoes & bags on the table as we could. We also had a clothing rack which I bought like literally 2 hours before the event. Mad rush.

This was our space on the second day. It turned out to be way bigger than the first day coz we were given two tables instead of one, which also turned out to be a good thing coz bff's friend came to join us to sell some of her own stuff and we ended up having a whole range of merchandise to sell. Our location was fab as well, located just at the main entrance where the traffic was pretty good.

And that's us at the closing end of the day! I know it looks like we still have alot of things left, but that's coz we kept replacing empty spaces with new stuff once something was sold off (we did have ALOT of things).

So guess what? I might be doing the flea again this weekend. Will update in following posts if I get a space. In the meantime, I've updated the shop (I know, like FINALLY). There's more clothes (new & pre-loved) and also a range of unisex leather belts. Do check it out! Click here to shop!

Seen some images of the latest Fall collection from Burberry, looks like a pretty fab collection. I'm so far behind on fashion week. Barely even started looking at images of the latest collections yet, and it's already at Milan? or is it already Paris?

Hey guys! How's your Chinese New Year been so far? Mine consisted mainly of playing mahjong at home with our own rules (totally not a pro player at all) and my luck at the table has been pretty good so far. It's only less than halfway thru CNY so there's more time to win somemore (hopefully)!

Happy Chinese New Year!

First off, apologies for the lack of updates this week and just to let you guys know, most possibly posting will be slow for the next few days as it's the festive season! To everyone celebrating, Happy Chinese New Year! May this year be a prosperous one and wishing everyone good health & happiness all year round!

The dim sum (which is only part of what we had btw) is from the annual reunion lunch with friends which we just had earlier today at Peach Garden. Yummy tasting dim sum I must say. Gonna have steamboat in less than a couple of hours so am doing a quick post before leaving.

Fall fashion week mayhem has already started in New York, so there's plenty of new collections for you to check out. I haven't exactly looked thru any collection completely yet. Guess I'll catch up after the holidays. I'm sure most of you guys have already heard about the very saddening passing of one of fashion's greatest talent. Danny Roberts from Igor+André did a really beautiful tribute drawing on his blog which you can check out here.

So guess I'll be back to regular posting next week. In the meantime, enjoy your holidays and collecting loads of ang bos!=)

Sad sad news. The fashion world just lost one of its most talented designer Alexander McQueen. Very shocked at his sudden demise. His work will be remembered for a long long time. RIP Lee McQueen.  

Shop For Chinese New Year!

Hey guys, me & bff is setting up a booth at this flea tomorrow & Sunday (on both 6&7 Feb). We'll be selling apparels, accessories, bags & shoes at really low and affordable prices (it's a flea after all=D). On top of that, there's a discount coupon on the top left corner of this flyer which you can print out or get from the location of the bazaar itself (I think) and enjoy 10% off at all participating booths (us included)!
